About SafeFlame
Helping Australia share candlelight safely since 2005
SafeFlame began in Sydney in 2005 with a simple purpose: to give schools, churches, councils and community groups the warmth and atmosphere of candlelight without the risk of an open flame.
In the years before ecommerce became commonplace, we mailed around 25,000 catalogues and order forms each season. Orders arrived by post and fax, then were scheduled around each customer's event date. At our busiest, a small team prepared hundreds of thousands of candles in a single Christmas season.
Every event date matters
Australia is a very large country, and a candle order arriving after an event can turn a celebration into a disappointment. That lesson shaped the way we work. We check quantities, names, addresses, cartons and delivery labels carefully because every parcel represents a real event—and often a Christmas memory that cannot simply be repeated.
SafeFlame candles have been used for Carols by Candlelight, church services, school celebrations, council events and commemorative ceremonies across Australia. We remain grateful for every organisation that trusts us with its occasion.
A renewed SafeFlame
Our business later expanded into year-round product lines, but the need for reliable, reusable flameless candles never disappeared. We are now renewing SafeFlame with improved candle designs, clear national ordering information and a stronger online service for both returning and first-time customers.
Our Classic Amber and Neon Rainbow LED taper candles include batteries, provide more than 150 hours of light and are available with custom printing for larger events.
